We offer several different options to choose from for treating acne. We have found that all acne is different and that the client’s needs range in what procedures work best for their particular skin type. Our estheticians are trained to educate the client in what they feel will produce the best results.

Acne Laser Treatments and IPL Treatments-

Topical creams and oral medications can be effective treatments for acne outbreaks, but they can be expensive and can dry and irritate sensitive skin. What’s more, acne that occurs on backs and chests can be difficult to treat topically because of the large surface area.

Treating acne with pulsed light can deliver better aesthetic results, especially on inflammatory acne, without the side effects associated with topical and oral acne medications. You can also treat scars resulting from acne outbreaks with fractional laser skin resurfacing.

Hydrafacial-

Acne is not exclusive to teenagers, and can be particularly troubling for adult patients. Our patients find that the HydraFacial™ skin treatment can be as effective in treating adult acne and oily skin as it is in promoting healthier, younger-looking skin.

The HydraFacial resurfacing procedure provides cleansing, exfoliation, extractions and hydration, while also applying antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid for healthier skin. The treatment takes as little as 40 minutes and is often described as feeling like “a cool paintbrush moving over the face.”

Each treatment uses a series of HydroPeel® tips with multiple peeling edges to exfoliate the skin several times each pass, achieving better, more even results. The unique spiral design creates a vortex effect to easily dislodge and remove impurities while simultaneously introducing hydrating skin solutions with potent antioxidants.

The HydraFacial is a noninvasive, nonsurgical procedure that can help reduce the problems of acne and oily skin with no discomfort or downtime. Continued treatments once a month are recommended to maintain optimal results.
